So hard to believe it's already February! January, as always, seems to have just slipped by. This January in particular was extremely busy, with tons of projects I can't wait to share! But first, here's a roundup of where you can find me and my writing from the past month!
Technically this is a February link, but I couldn't wait to share my first piece at Contributoria, "Iran's Fight Against Terrorism". It's one of the most ambitious pieces I've tackled so far, and I'm glad I was able to do it with a site like Contributoria.
I was also at Literally, Darling, this month with a piece I'm very proud of: "When American Heroes Fall Off Their Pedestals." Given the charged relationship between institutions of power and the people in the U.S., I felt it was important to acknowledge that yes, you can respect an institution while challenging those who do not uphold the institution's code of conduct.
Another LD piece: This fun profile of a friend/Etsy shop owner, "How To Etsy: Behind The Scenes At Margaret Drive." If you've never visited her shop, you really should! Julie is incredibly talented
Although I started writing for HelloGiggles in December, January was really the month I got my footing and turned out some content I'm really, really excited about! From pieces on women leaders in the ancient world, to Richard Ayoade, to amazing books by women, I have had so much fun writing for a site that let's me embrace my varied interests in a fun way!
At WildSpice, I shared my love and longing for Paris, a city that will always feel like home.
Can't wait to share all the exciting things to come in February!
